The Clock Inn
Terms and cancellation
Clear rules for booking, payment, cancellation and your stay.
Last updated: 7 September 2026
1. Operator and scope
Accommodation at The Clock Inn is provided by REMUS Business s.r.o., Company ID 06196951, VAT ID CZ06196951, registered office Na dlážděnce 644/49, Troja, 182 00 Praha 8. These terms apply to bookings made directly with the hostel through this website, by email, by phone or at reception. A booking made through a third-party portal is also governed by that portal’s terms.
2. Booking and contract
The accommodation contract is concluded when the guest receives a booking confirmation. The confirmation states the dates, room or bed category, price, rate conditions and payment method. The guest must check the details and report an error without undue delay. A specific room number is not guaranteed unless explicitly confirmed.
3. Prices and payment
The binding price is the total shown before the booking is submitted and in the confirmation. The selected rate may require payment in advance, a deposit or a valid payment-card guarantee. Any tourist tax or extra service not included in the displayed total will be clearly stated before payment or charged according to applicable rules.
4. Cancellation and no-show
The cancellation conditions shown for the selected rate in the booking form and confirmation always take priority.
- A non-refundable rate is charged according to its description and is not refunded if the guest cancels.
- A flexible rate may be cancelled free of charge within the deadline shown during booking. A later cancellation or no-show may be charged up to the amount stated for that rate.
- Cancellation must be made through the link or method in the confirmation, or in writing to bookings@theclockinn.cz. It is effective once received by the hostel.
5. Arrival, stay and departure
Check-in starts at 15:00 and check-out is by 10:00 unless another time is confirmed. Guests must present a valid identity document and follow the accommodation rules, fire-safety rules and reasonable instructions from staff. The guest is responsible for damage caused by them or people in their group.
6. Changes by the hostel
If the hostel cannot provide confirmed accommodation for a reason on its side, it will offer a reasonable alternative or refund the amount paid for the unavailable service. This does not limit any mandatory rights the guest has under applicable law.
7. Complaints and disputes
Please raise a problem at reception as soon as possible so it can be resolved during the stay. Written complaints may be sent to bookings@theclockinn.cz. Consumers may also use out-of-court dispute resolution by the Czech Trade Inspection Authority, Štěpánská 567/15, 120 00 Prague 2, www.coi.cz. Czech law applies, without depriving a consumer of mandatory protection under the law of their country of residence.
